Aprašymas
Prekės aprašymas anglų kalba:
The compound bow is designed to shoot arrows through the energy accumulated in the arms of the bow and transmitted by the archer's muscles. A characteristic feature that differs a compound bow from a conventional bow is the way the maximum draw force is distributed. Well, in a compound bow, the maximum draw force is reached in the middle of the maximum length. After crossing the point where we reach the maximum force, the so-called release occurs. Let-off, thanks to this phenomenon, the archer applies only 30-50% of the force needed to overcome the point where the greatest force is required to keep the system in the maximum tension state. This phenomenon arises as a result of the use of wheels and cams in the arc, which in their shape rotate eccentrically around their axis of rotation.
To release the string with fast or short compound bows, use the trigger (required loop on the string D-loop), shooting with your fingers may throw the string off the cams, which may result in permanent damage to the bow. Compound bows for children, teenagers and longer recreational bows are designed for shooting with fingers and the trigger.
In archery, all technical data values are expressed in the Anglo-Saxon measurement system:
LENGTH: inch: in ["], 1" is 2.54 cm;
WEIGHT: lb: lb/ lbs [#], 1 lb is 0.45 kg;
SPEED: foot per second: fps, 1 fps is 0.3 m/ s or 1.1 km/ h.
For each advanced compound bow, it is necessary to install and adjust the appropriate accessories, such as:
viewfinder;
arrow rest;
peepsight;
string release trigger;
D-loop, which is necessary for firing with the trigger.
Each of these elements requires proper setting in order to achieve maximum effectiveness of the entire set.
How to read technical data.
Axle-to-axle ATA (axle-to-axle): This is the length measured from the axis of rotation of the pulleys placed on the arms on opposite sides.
Brace height (brace heigt): this is the distance from the most concave point of the handle in the grip to the bowstring at rest, or the distance from the base mounting socket to the bowstring.
Draw Length: This is the drawn length of the bow, measured between the point where the arrow nock meets the string and the back of the bow (point side).
Draw force: this is the force that must be applied between the grip and the string in order to achieve full draw. Adjustment of the tension force is most often achieved by releasing the screws holding the arms, provided that the manufacturer has provided for such a possibility.
Maximum Arrow Muzzle Velocity: Value achieved at maximum draw weight.
Weight without accessories: weight of the bow without additional accessories.
Let-off: this is a phenomenon occurring in compound bows, which is manifested by a percentage reduction in the force needed to hold the system after crossing the critical point, i.e. the point at which the maximum tension force specified in the product characteristics is required. The parameter 65% means a reduction of the required force by 65% in relation to the maximum force.
